Mukesh Kerayi, Seven Years of Forced Boy Marries Wild Dog





Living in a society that is closely related to myth making Mukesh Kerayi should follow the advice of parents and grandfather. In a religious ritual, a seven-year boy is forced to marry a stray dog-family believe this marriage will prevent it from evil spirits.

"We believe this marriage will counteract any bad omen attached to the child. It is a traditional practice that is usually done by our people and we believe in it, "said kake Ashok Kumar (43), grandfather Mukesh.

Apart from the Government of India which appeal to mention that this is a tradition that is wrong, according to Ashok, this rite has become a tradition in the community. He said that the task of the adults like himself is keeping his children happy and secure both of curse or other calamity. Including forcing Mukesh married Kerayi wild dogs.
