Ducks trade Hagelin to Pittsburgh for Perron, Clendening
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) The Anaheim Ducks have exchanged forward Carl Hagelin to the Pittsburgh Penguins for forward David Perron and defenseman Adam Clendening.
The Ducks declared the exchange Friday night after their triumph over Dallas.
Hagelin had four objectives and eight helps with 43 diversions with the Ducks. Anaheim obtained him in an offseason exchange with the New York Rangers for Emerson Etem, and after that marked him to a four-year, $16 million contract.
The fast Hagelin attempted to discover a scoring groove with the Ducks, who have the NHL's least scoring offense by a wide margin this season.
Perron is a three-time 20-objective scorer who has just 16 focuses in 43 diversions this season with the Penguins. The physical left wing spent his initial six NHL seasons with St. Louis. Pittsburgh gained Perron from Edmonton for a 2015 first-round pick and Rob Klinkhammer last January.
Clendening has five focuses in 30 profession NHL recreations.
